Welcome to the Red Queen's Loop
Thoughts, bets, and blunt takes from the front lines of engineering leadership
In Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass, the Red Queen must run full speed just to remain in place—the second she slows, she's already behind. Feel familiar?
Leading in tech today means relentless pace, constant adaptation, and zero room to coast. That's why this blog is called the "Red Queen’s Loop." It captures the essence of tech leadership: continuous iteration, rapid evolution, and persistent disruption. Succeeding here demands resilience, clarity, and courage, as the path is often not clear.
In this space, I'll openly share insights, mental models, bold bets (some probably ill-advised), and candid reflections drawn from my own experience leading high-growth, fast-paced tech teams. Expect direct takes, occasional craziness, and unapologetic urgency—because complacency isn't an option. My goal: create a space to challenge the status quo, accelerate value creation, and learn openly from one another.
We'll talk leadership, strategy, hot tech (LLMs anyone?), decision-making under pressure, navigating uncertainty, and building teams that thrive amidst complexity.
Fair warning: you won't always agree, and things might get blunt. But that's the reality of running the Red Queen's Loop. If you're up for it, subscribe, and let's figure this out together.
Set the pace. Don't chase it.
